Metal & Timber Framed Walls
E-therm is ideal for all metal  & timber wall apllications. The added benefit is that E-therm will also comply with the Thermal Break requirement set by the building code of Australia. So E-therm is the original all-in-one insulation solution. There is no need to worry about two or three products for your insulation needs as E-therm is all that is required.

Installation "Counter Battern Method"
E-therm comes in different widths and thicknesses to meet your building needs. E-therm also incorporates a 150mm foil flap on the longitudinal side of the product that can eliminate tapping or overlappin in most building applications. This saves time and money during installation and completes a sound vapour barrier that doesn't rely on tape for it to work.

1. Roll out E-therm horizontally from bottom up fixing to the external frame with Anti-Glare facing installer.
2. Adjoin the next roll making sure that the 150mm foil flap overlaps the bottom roll ensuring a vapur barrier.
3. Cut E-therm carefully around doors, windows and services ensuring a neat butt ensuring to minimise gaps.
4. Fix counter batterns to the outside and fastern exterior cladding to recommended requirements from the cladding manufcaturer.
5. All end joins should be taped with Thermotec's recommended E-therm 75mm reinforced aluminum tape.
